Ricardo Fleury Cavalcanti de Albuquerque Lacerda

Founder & CEO

Ricardo Lacerda has been the CEO and founding partner of BR Partners Banco de Investimentos since 2009. He was Head of Citigroup’s Investment Bank in Latin America (2007-2009) and Brazil (2005-2009). Previously he worked at Goldman Sachs, where he held the positions of Chief Executive Officer in Brazil (2001-2005) and Vice President at Banco de Investimentos in New York (1996-2001). He holds a graduate degree in Business Administration (1990) and a postgraduate degree in Finance (1992) from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and holds a Master’s in Finance from Columbia University in New York (1996).

José Flávio Ferreira Ramos

Partner and Managing Director

Mr. José Flávio has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a specialization in Finance from Centro Universitário UNA. He has more than forty years of experience in the financial market. Mr. José was CEO of BR Partners Banco until 2016, and in July of 2021 he returned to the same post of CEO. He was Executive Director of Emerald Gestão de Investimentos (2008-2012) and Chief Financial Officer at Citibank (2001-2008).

Jairo Eduardo Loureiro Filho

Co-Founding Partner & Executive Director

Mr. Jairo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and an MBA from Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He has extensive experience in the segment of financial institutions, with an emphasis on financial advice. Mr. Jairo was part of the founding team of Grupo BR Partners (2009). He holds the position of director in several subsidiaries of the economic group and currently a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, he served as co-head (2009) and as Managing Director (2007-2009) of Citi Investment Bank in Brazil. Mr. Jairo held the position of Vice President at Goldman Sachs Investment Bank (2000-2007) and served at Salomon Brothers in New York (1996-2000). Mr. Jairo does not hold management positions in other companies or organizations in the third sector.

Danilo Depieri Catarucci

Partner & Executive Director

Mr. Danilo holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Administration and Accounting at the University of São Paulo. He has extensive experience in the segment of financial institutions. He holds the position of director at BR Partners Banco de Investimento (Investment Bank) S.A. and at BR Partners Assessoria de Mercados de Capitais e Dívida (Capital Markets and Debt advisory) Ltda. since 2016. Mr. Danilo is currently a member of the Board of Directors. Previously, he served as Senior Transactor at XP Investimentos (2011-2012), was a Partner at Pluribus Investimentos (2010-2011), Associate at Alvarez and Marsal do Brasil (2008-2010), Associate at Citigroup (2006-2008) and Analyst at BES Investimento do Brasil (2004-2006). Mr. Danilo does not hold management positions in other companies or organizations in the third sector.

Fernanda Gonzalez

Partner & Executive Director

Previously, Ms. Fernanda worked at Goldman Sachs Investment Bank in Brazil (2010-2013) and in New York (2008-2010). She also worked as a Relationship Manager at Citibank (2002-2006). Mr. Fernanda graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (2001) and Economics from the University of São Paulo (2004) and earned her MBA from Columbia Business School (2008).

Marcelo Nóbrega da Costa

Partner, Executive Director & CFO

Mr. Marcelo holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – Aeronautics from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica. He holds a master’s degree in Mathematical Modeling Applied to Finance from FEA / IME – USP. Mr. Marcelo has extensive experience in the segment of financial institutions. He is currently director of the Issuer and BR Partners Banco de Investimento S.A., responsible for the Sales & Trading area of Fixed Income and Derivatives (since 2013). Previously, he was responsible for the Fixed Income and Derivatives Sales area at Banco Espírito Santo (BES) in Brazil (2006-2012).

Bachir Samir El Chaouiche

Partner

Prior to joining BR Partners, he worked at Banco Santander as Derivatives Corporate Sales (2016-2019) and FI Structured Products Sales (2013-2016). He also worked at Banco Bradesco as Derivatives Sales for Large Corporates (2009-2013) and at BFRE (2008-2009). Bachir holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Insper (2009) and a Master’s Degree in Economics from Insper (MPE – 2019).

Bruno Tsuji

Partner

Previously, he was responsible for Banco Safra’s Derivatives Bureau (2013 – 2015). Before joining Banco Safra, he served as Global Market Sales at Standard Bank (2010 – 2013). Mr. Bruno graduated in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (2004) and holds a master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo (MPFE – 2010).

Claudio Tibau

Partner & Head of Funding

Previously, he worked at Banco ABC Brasil (1990-2020), responsible for the areas of local Funding, Investment Fund Distribution and DCM Distribution. He graduated in Business Administration from Faculdade Cândido Mendes and took several specialization courses at FGV, IBMEC and others.

Daniel Araújo

Partner & Head of Credit

A career in the financial market with a primary focus on credit risk. He worked as a credit and equity analyst (buy side) at Western Asset Management (2007 to 2018), Ratings Director at Standard & Poor’s (1998 to 2007) and Credit Manager at Rabobank International (1993 to 1998), among others. Graduated in Business Administration at PUC-SP.

George Casaes

Head of Regional Coverage

Mr. George Cesaes joined the team in 2021, holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (1997) from PUC-MG and Accounting (1997) from UFMG. Previously, he worked for 28 years with structuring services for Investment Funds (REITs, FIP and FIDC), tax, corporate and succession planning, M&A operations and customer service for Wealth Management. In addition, he holds a Masters in Law (2004) from the Milton Campos Law School.

Giovana Petrilli

Partner & Head of Human Resources

Responsible for the HR area since 2014. Previously, Ms. Giovana worked on the Payroll of Credit Suisse Investment Bank (2008 – 2011). She graduated in Business Administration from Centro Universitário Central Paulista (2005) and has a Postgraduate Degree in Organizational Management and Human Resources from USFCar (2007).

Gustavo Pachione Guedes

Partner

Previously, he held the position of Structuring, Risk and Product Manager at Cibrasec (2012-2019) and Credit Risk Associate at the Royal Bank of Scotland (2011-2012). He also worked in the Credit Risk area at Banco Itaú (2005-2011). He graduated in Economics from Universidade de São Paulo (2005) and holds a Masters in Economics and Finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo (2011).

Hideo Kawassaki

Partner & Head of Accounting

Bachelor’s in accounting sciences from Universidade of São Judas Tadeu and MBA in Business Management from Fundação Dom Cabral. He is currently an accountant for the companies of the BR Partners Group (since 2011). Previously, he worked at BPN Brasil (2008-2011), Dresdner Bank (99-2008) and Banco Safra (1997-1999).

Jefferson Kasa

Partner and Director

Previously, Mr. Jefferson worked as a senior associate at Lazard Investment Bank (2012-2014) and in Private Equity at Banco Votorantim (2010-2011), manager at Unibanco (2006-2008) and consultant at Bain & Company (2003-2005). He graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (2004) and has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (2010).

Leonardo Ferreira

Partner & Head of Risk and Product Control

Responsible for the Product Control and Risk areas since 2012. Previously, he served as a partner responsible for Product Control / Middle in a global fund (2004-2011), and at the Maxblue DTVM Products table (2003-2004) and at HSBC CTVM table (1999-2003). He graduated in Production Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (2000).

Marcella Coselli Marcondes

She joined the team in 2016. She graduated in Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2017).

Monica Piccirillo

Partner & Head of Legal and Compliance

Responsible for the Legal and Compliance areas. Before joining the team in 2021, she worked in the legal department of Bank of America Merrill Lynch (2020-2021), BNP Paribas (2009-2020) in Brazil and in the Legal Department and Project Finance – Energy, Oil and Gas – in WestLB AG in Brazil and New York (1998-2009). She holds a degree in Law from University of São Paulo and a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M) from the Fordham University School of Law in New York with a focus on Banking, Corporate and Finance Law.

Sergio Carbone

Partner & Director

Mr. Sergio has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University Osvaldo Cruz. He has extensive experience in the financial institutions segment. He is currently a director of the Issuer and BR Partners Banco de Investimento S.A. (since 2012). Mr. Sergio previously worked at Credit Suisse in the Post-Trade / Back-Office of Equities area (1992-2011).

Victor Marsal Gomes

Partner

Previously, he worked in M&A and corporate finance at Centria (2019-2020), Conext Partners (2016-2019), the BI&P investment bank (2013-2016) and Voga (2008-2013). He graduated in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2008).

Victor Molchansky

Partner

Previously, Mr. Victor worked in the business area of Pinheiro Neto Advogados – corporate M&A and structured products (debt & equity) (2007-2012). He graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP) (2010).

Vinicius Carmona Cardoso

Partner & Head of Investors Relations

Mr. Vinicius holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations with an emphasis on economics (2011) from FACAMP (Faculdades de Campinas). Previously, he worked as a manager at Banco ABC Brasil S.A. (2016-2020) in Investor Relations, Business Intelligence and proprietary M&A, and at Cielo S.A. as a Trainee and later Investor Relations analyst (2013-2016).

Andrea Amorim

Partner and Restructuring Director

Previously, she was a founding partner at Lead Capital Partners (2019-2021). She worked in the area of Investment Banking at Banco BTG Pactual (2019), was an Executive Director at Banco BNP Paribas (2013-2018 and 2004-2007), worked in private debt origination at Banco BBM Bocom (2012- 2013), in origination and structuring at Banco Credit Suisse (2007-2012) and in credit analysis at Banco ABN Amro Real (2001-2004). He holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas Foundation (2001) and post graduated in Finance also from Fundação Getulio Vargas (2003).

Cesar Epiphanio

Previously, he worked in Portfolio Management at Votorantim S.A. (2017-2019) and in Strategic Planning and M&A at Braskem S.A. (2011-2017). CFA charterholder since 2017, graduated in Business Administration from Insper (2010).

Fabiana Balducci

Partner and Restructuring Director

Previously, she was a founding partner at Lead Capital Partners (2019-2021). She served as a director at Credit Suisse (2006-2019). She also worked in the areas of Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions and Credit at BNP Paribas (2004-2005) and Bank of America (1994-2004) and in the Economic Department at Banco Itaú. She holds a degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1994) and received his MBA in Finance from Insper (2002).

Gustavo Papa

He joined the team in 2020. Previously, he worked in Portfolio Management at Votorantim S.A. (2016-2020), in M&A at Saint Paul Advisors (2014-2016) and at Ultrapar (2014). He graduated in Mechatronic Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (2015).

Rafael Coiro

Partner

He joined the team in 2018. He graduated in Economic Sciences from the School of Economics, Business and Accounting of the Universidade de São Paulo (2017).

Rodrigo Moraes

CIO Wealth Management

Joined the Wealth Management team as CIO – Chief Investment Officer. He has a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Pernambuco and a postgraduate degree in Finance from CODIMEC/EAESP. Previously, he was a partner and member of the executive committee at Julius Baer Family Office and Reliance Asset Management. Additionally, he held executive roles at Banco Rendimento, Grupo Safra and The First National Bank of Boston. He has CGA and CGE certifications from ANBIMA and Securities Consultant and Administrator certifications from CVM.

Álvaro Aguiar

Wealth Management Director

Prior to joining BR Partners (2023), Álvaro worked at Julius Baer Family Office as Team Head Relationship Manager (2020-2023). He previously was as Partner and Director of Reliance (2005- 2020).  He also worked as Director for Deutsche Bank (2002 -2005) and as Vice-President at JP Morgan in New York and São Paulo (1991-2002).  He holds a Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas (1985).

Rafael Lisboa

Wealth Management Director

Rafael joined the Wealth Management team in 2023 and was previously a partner at Julius Baer Family Office (2019-2023) and Reliance (2004-2019). Rafael has worked at Banco Fator, UBS Securities, Citibank, LTCB Latin America and FINACORP. He holds a Bachelor’s  degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (1982).

Vinicius Carmona Cardoso

Mr. Vinicius holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations with an emphasis on economics (2011) from FACAMP (Faculdade de Campinas). Previously, he worked as a manager at Banco ABC Brasil S.A. (2016-2020) in Investor Relations, Business Intelligence, and proprietary M&A, and at Cielo S.A. as a Trainee and later Investor Relations analyst (2013-2016).

Raul Rabello

Joined the team in 2022. Previously, he worked in M&A and Business Development at Volaris Group (2021-2022). He graduated in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2021).

Joana Bortolin Mesquita

Previously, she worked as a DCM analyst at Banco Voiter. She also worked as an intern in Credit Analysis and Controllership at the same institution. She graduated in Business Administration from Insper (2022). She joined the BR Partners team in 2022.
